Hi, I’m Alex.
I founded Beaulieu Travel whilst on maternity leave in the summer of 2023.
Travel has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve visited over 30 countries and was lucky enough to call four of them home whilst growing up. Experiencing different cultures from a young age gave me a real appreciation for how much travel can enrich our lives and create lasting memories.
Today, I live in Essex with my husband Tim and our two young children, Ceci and Archie. Many of our own family adventures now inspire the destination reviews, travel tips and recommendations I share through Beaulieu Travel.
Why I started Beaulieu Travel
Since becoming a mummy, my love of travel has only grown. If anything, it's made me even more determined to show my children just how many incredible places there are in the world.
Family travel can be a contentious topic, and one of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that travelling with children is simply too difficult or not worth the effort. Having travelled extensively as a family, I know that whilst it can be different, it can also be incredibly rewarding.
That experience made me realise how many people are put off travelling because they feel overwhelmed by the planning process or worried about making the wrong choice.
I started Beaulieu Travel because I wanted to help take that stress away.
